Located right in the middle of all the action, ICON Park is one of Orlando’s most iconic places to visit! From shopping, to restaurants, and attractions – there is something for everyone!
Here’s a list of my top things to do at ICON Park. PRO TIP: Take advantage of the ICON Park Play Pass which gives you access to 8 attractions as well as dining discounts and shopping savings!
The Wheel

The Wheel is one of the coolest attractions in all of Orlando! You’ve probably seen it when driving down i-4, this mega observation deck allows a birds eye view of The City Beautiful!
Once at the top you’ll be 400 feet above Orlando with uninterrupted views in every direction. Yes, you can even see Universal and Disney World!
The ride takes about 20 minutes, and The Wheel alone makes the Play Pass worth it! Before hopping on make sure you grab a drink and the bar to take along for the ride. Once you’re in your cabin you can follow along the guided tour or play your own music with the bluetooth feature!
Ride the Pearl Express Train
This is a great activity if you have little ones! The Pearl Express is a little train with bright colored cars that takes you all around ICON Park. The ride is quick enough that you can still enjoy exploring but long enough to keep kids entertained with the sights!

Sea Life Aquarium
The Sea Life Aquarium was one of my favorite attractions! It definitely was my toddler’s favorite too! There are so many animals to see here like sharks, sting rays, and huge turtles!
Sea Life Aquarium is also home to Florida’s ONLY 360 degree tank! It was so cool to see the sharks swim above us and the fish below our feet!
Not to mention this is the perfect rainy day activity with kids! Explore the aquariums many tanks, interactive exhibits, and there’s even a touch tank. Your kids will be able to feel their way around the bottom of the ocean along rocks and cool creatures.
Museum of Illusions
Ready to take your mind on a wild ride? At The Museum of Illusions you’ll question what you’re seeing, and yes – your eyes will deceive you!
In some rooms your kids will be taller than you, in others you’ll climb the highest wall! Every corner of the Museum of Illusions has a trick for your eyes to see and your mind to decipher. It was so much fun for my toddler and for us adults too!
Madame Tussaud’s
Have you ever wanted to mingle with top celebrities, movie stars, and even superheroes!? Then Madame Tussaud’s wax museum is your next stop! Madame Tussaud’s in Orlando has celebrities like Will Smith, former Prez Barack Obama, and just steps away you’ll find Aquaman, Wonder Woman, + the rest of the Justice League! There’s even your favorite characters like Shrek come to life!
Working up an Appetite

After all that fun and excitement you must be hungry! Luckily there’s no shortage of delicious food at ICON Park!
Grab some tapas and sangria at Tapa Toro
Devour nachos and guac at Uncle Julio’s Mexican Restaurant
Wash it all down with cold beers from Yard House
and top it all off with something sweet from The Sugar Factory!
All this and more can be enjoyed when spending the day at ICON Park. When you get the ICON Park Play Pass, you also get exclusive dining discounts!
Shop Till You Drop!
Icon Park also has some great shopping options! While we visited, we stopped in Build-A-Bear and took advantage of their Birthday Bear for Santi! You can also find great presents at ICON Park Gifts, The Wheelhouse gift shop, and even take some candy to-go at The Sugar Factory! There is so much to do – and don’t forget your Play Pass opens up discounts all over Icon Park!
Where to Stay
If you’re visiting Orlando or maybe enjoying a staycation, you want to stay close to the action! Staying on International Drive not only puts you in a prime spot for ICON Park, but you’re close enough to enjoy the Outlets, Universal, and Disney too!
When we enjoy staycations, we stay at the Wyndham Orlando Resort right on International Drive! The rooms are spacious, comfy, and they even offer a family room with bunk beds for the kids! Even better, you can save 20% on their Best Rate offer by clicking here.
